     This fundraiser is the first of Fund Rounders' outside-the-box, original fundraising campaigns. Hosting regional poker tournaments throughout the year, Fund Rounders is looking to gather a group of proven winners from around the country to represent our network of charities at major WPT & World Series of Poker events. This not only creates the potential to win big, but it guarantees wide-spread media attention through various national and global public platforms. Watch for Team Landshark's debut at the 2016 Borgata Poker Open WPT Championship this fall in Atlantic City!

     Please support us in MAKING CHANGE for families who are faced with the battle against childhood cancer. In memory of Anastasia Kostaris, who lost her life at the tender age of 20 months in July 2015, we are devoting a portion of our efforts to ensuring her legacy as well as the continued growth of the local treatment facilities that aid in the fight against childhood cancer.

ALL-IN ​FOR OUR TROOPS
     Fund Rounders supports our troops. Through our fundraising efforts during the 2015 FRPS, we were able to donate hundreds of dollars worth of clothes and food to Boots On The Ground NY. BOTGNY is a team of Veterans that care about our troops, American Veterans here in the U.S. and all of their families. They collect clothing, furniture, food and other day-to-day supplies, then deliver care packages to our troops that are currently serving our country abroad, as well as to the families of Vets in need right here in New York. This group opens up their doors and hearts to any Veteran that needs it. Veterans are not just a last name and case number to BOTGNY. They build friendships and provide support for those that need it most.

FOR ACES
A Financial Assistance Fund

     Our purpose in filming "The Greatest Tennis Story Never Told", a documentary about U.S. tennis champion Vic Seixas, is to create awareness about retired athletes of yesteryear, pioneers, who have been overlooked. Many professional athletes have a 3-5 year peak in their relatively short careers, and many of them face financial, physical and mental issues within a few years of retirement. Fund Rounders is determined to build a fund for great athletes, like Vic, who have given so much of themselves. These pioneers remain deserving and in need of assistance later in life. Let's help these living legends!

FIRST TO ACT
A Theater Arts Grant Program

  Offering grants to community, cultural and educational theater arts projects is one of our favorite things to do. In 2014, we had the pleasure of working alongside ThinkBIG! Theater Arts and CM Performing Arts Center in Long Island. After co-producing $10K for ThinkBIG!'s puppet show MYTHOS, we are now looking to create The Noel Ruiz First To Act Fund, in honor of CM's founder. Noel led a life of leadership and love, staying loyal to his friends, family and community through his love for the arts. We look forward to helping many more talented individuals and creative organizations, for years to come. Remember... the world is a stage and we all must play our part!

     Our inaugural BEAUTIFY L.I. event will take place on Sunday 7/17 @ 10am. Fund Rounders and Sunrise Toyota are teaming up to keep trash on the right track.      Sadly, someone has been dumping old tires, televisions and other trash in that area over a long period of time. Not only will we clean it all up, but together we plan to keep the area clean from now on. Toyota has turned two of their surveillance cameras to monitor the back road and Fund Rounders plans to work with the Town of Islip to install one or two "NO DUMPING - $3000 FINE" signs as well.
     If you have an hour or two, please volunteer some of your time and join us in our efforts. Rubber gloves, trash bags and a few garbage pinchers will be available... and we could definitely use some muscles to help lift these large old TVs out of the woods and up over the dirt mound at the end of the street.
