FRPS LANDSHARK REGISTRATION
By registering for one of our events, you are agreeing to the Rules & Conditions of participating in the Fund Rounders Poker Series. We ask that you recognize that although these games are competitive in nature, there is no gambling involved in this campaign. This series of fundraisers was created with the sole intention of creating widespread public awareness, massive media attention and additional funding for the network of charities involved in each particular campaign. While we certainly appreciate your donations, realize that you are not required to pay an entry fee of any kind, therefore, there is no risk involved for any of our participants. There will be a maximum of 45 seats available at all FRPS local events. The top 3 players at each event will earn points (100, 50, 25).
Please keep in mind that all of the optional, tax-deductible donations that we receive will go directly to Fund Rounders, a 501(c)3 charity. The donations received will cover campaign administrative costs, with the remaining funds being divided among the participating charities equally. Fund Rounders reserves the right to sponsor the individual(s) that we feel will best represent our network of charities. Our Board of Directors will choose our Team Landshark representatives based on a variety of important factors. The FRPS Championship in New York City will be open to the public for viewing, in an effort to raise additional funds and public awareness. The Landsharks chosen by Fund Rounders will receive an invitation into the FRPS Championship event (May 8th, 2017 at Tanner Smith's in NYC), and the top two players will receive sponsorship into the "Last Chance" satellite of the Borgata Fall Poker Open WPT Championship in Atlantic City, covering their $350 registration fee. Each member of Team Landshark will be sponsored into the same $350 satellite. 1 in 10 players in that tournament earn a $3,500 ticket into the Main Event.
* All FRPS participants will be required to sign a participation agreement, which states that our WPT Landshark will split their winnings 75/25 with our organization. *
For registering online, you will receive a Fund Rounders membership and gift. If you register for someone other than yourself, please provide us with a valid email address and/or direct contact information of that individual, so that we can ensure that they receive their membership and gift as well. Your free gift will be distributed when you check in to the FRPS event that you have pre-registered for. In the near future, we will be adding donor gifts to our DONATE page. Rather than build a crowd-funding page through another provider, we have opted to avoid paying additional fees to another website and to simply begin offering donor gifts right here on FundRounders.org.
This campaign model was conceptualized as a win-win for everyone involved. It is so exciting for us to see our concept come to be realized. We truly appreciate the support of our event participants, sponsors, vendors & host venues. Our community will greatly benefit from our coming together for the sake of others. Remember... Once you have registered, you will receive a confirmation email. All participants (online and in-person) will be asked to provide us with their contact info for future correspondence. You will have an option to opt-out of Fund Rounders related emails if you'd like, but we hope that you'll allow us to keep you in the loop about upcoming events, monies raised and media attention surrounding our causes. We'd also love to learn about YOUR favorite local charities, as we continue to grow our network of organizations that we play for. Thank you for all that you do to make a difference.
