The Greatest Tennis Story Never Told
The Career of U.S. Tennis Champion Vic Seixas
Fund Rounders recently produced an exclusive, sit-down interview with Vic Seixas, currently the oldest living male Grand Slam singles champion in the world. He has an amazing life story, as well as one of the most remarkable careers in the history of tennis. The purpose behind filming this documentary is not only to create awareness, but to honor and celebrate the great athletes of yesteryear. We are focused on helping those that paved the way for professional sports today, by bringing attention to the issues (physical, mental, financial) that athletes face in their retirement. Vic competed at the highest level of his sport for over thirty years, participating in a record 28 U.S. Championships.

It is an honor and a privilege for Fund Rounders to receive recognition from Special Reporter Wayne Coffey (author of Mariano Riviera's book, The Closer) in the September 3rd Daily News. Our focus is to create awareness about issues we believe in, which is why we are thrilled to bring attention to living legends like Vic Seixas and Doris Hart, who were pioneers and champions in the early days of professional tennis. We are looking to work alongside the ATP, the USTA, the Tennis Hall of Fame (and their related affiliates) to develop a financial assistance program, as soon as possible. For more information, or to make a donation, please email [email protected]. Thank you!
